Process Pipeline Services, Inc. was formed in 2008 by Natural Gas Industry professionals with the goal of providing the finest quality engineering services to the industry. We are committed to the success and satisfaction of our clients through a high-touch service model, intelligent solutions that deliver on-time and on-budget outcomes, and unwavering standards for safety, quality, and ethical practices.

We understand it is essential to our success to be closely aligned with our clients’ over-all objectives.  Our staff of experienced professionals has given PPS an outstanding record of providing engineering and design services of the highest caliber to its clients.


What We Do


Our experience includes transmission, distribution, metering, pressure regulation, code compliance, project engineering, CAD design, instrumentation, and system analysis. We also specialize in Horizontal Directional Drilling for for utilities such as, Telecommunications, Water, Sanitary, Gas, Fiber Optics, and Electric.

Known for our focus on service excellence, the PPS approach is highly consultative and delivers intelligent solutions that reduce project ramp times, more effectively anticipate potential trouble areas, provide for smoother project phase transitions, and successfully meet on-time, on-budget project goals. From project initiation through start-up to final completion, PPS has amassed an enviable record of client service.

Our devotion to serving clients in the Natural Gas Industry extends to ensuring that all PPS staff are knowledgeable and well-trained. From continuing education externally and internally through our Lunch ‘n Learn series to our annual Mentorship Program that teams together early-career and new-to-gas-engineering staff with senior engineers and designers, PPS maintains a culture of professional development.

Mark Wood, PE
President

Mark is the founder of PPS and has used his extensive experience to build a team of engineers and designers capable of handling the complex needs of our clients in the Natural Gas utility sector. A purposeful problem solver with a "big picture" perspective and over 30 years' experience, Mark uses his strong analytical skills and engineering background to ensure PPS clients receive the very best solutions on a diverse spectrum of challenges.

 Mark’s steady and focused leadership at PPS has enabled considerable growth since inception 13 years ago without sacrificing a commitment to quality and excellence, continuously serving clients through planning, engineering, designing, permitting and project execution. With customer service at the forefront of all work, Mark has persistently modeled this ethos for PPS staff as the foundation for setting PPS apart from other engineering and design firms.

Wendy Foster
Head of Operations

As Head of Operations, Wendy handles everything from routine business, compliance, safety, and human resources activities, to discovery, implementation, and oversight of new business solutions, such as productivity and project management software. She is also responsible for identifying and developing sustainable and cost-effective process improvements that support the business.

Wendy brings broad and extensive organizational performance, risk mitigation and project management experience to her role at PPS. Multi-faceted and deeply experienced in business operations, strategic planning and customer experience, Wendy held key roles in a variety of industries, including healthcare, insurance, and financial services, before making a career change to counsel small start-up organizations for fast growth. With a focus on operational and financial efficiency models, team development and marketing communications, Wendy’s adaptable and resourceful approach ensures that high priority initiatives deliver results.

Steve Reade, PE
Principal Engineer

Steve is a Professional Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the design and construction of mechanical infrastructures in the Natural Gas and Electrical Utility industries. Steve’s service-centric mind set underpins his leadership of cross-functional teams, collaboration with clients and focus on monitoring progress that regularly culminates with the delivery of high-quality results on time and within budget.

A senior member of the team, Steve constantly leverages his comprehensive knowledge of regulatory compliance and corporate standards to resolve issues and enhance operational efficiencies on behalf of PPS’ clients throughout New England.

Matt Pelletier, EIT, PPD I
Senior Engineer

Matt joined the PPS team early in his career and has since risen through the ranks, amassing considerable Natural Gas experience, and delivering numerous client successes. He has worked on a wide array of distribution and transition projects, including meter and regulator stations, launcher and receiver stations, pipe alignments, specialty crossings and numerous unique projects.

Matt's responsibilities include project management, project engineering, and CAD design. Matt’s responsibilities also include Town, State, and Federal permitting. The diversity of Matt’s management, engineering, and design experiences  has enabled him to develop a vast understanding of all aspects of Natural Gas projects.

Bob Gilbert, PPD III
Director of Resources and Technology

Bob is a certified Senior Professional Piping Designer, with nearly 20 years’ experience in engineering and CADD-based work, with proficiencies in the most current versions of AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD Civil 3D. His background includes Natural Gas piping, civil engineering, landfill design, and land development.

As Director of Resources and Technology, Bob oversees the efforts that keep PPS competitive and at the cutting edge, ensuring that the business is routinely leveraging state-of-the-art tools and tactics that deliver high quality outcomes and evolve PPS’ service offerings. A senior member of the team, Bob is additionally responsible for managing the Design team, leading, preparing, designing, and developing overall site layouts, piping layouts and general arrangements for piping design work.
